Owner, Manager & Head Coach of Team Sparta
Coach Vik Grujic is the Owner, manager and head Coach of Team Sparta Martial Arts Academy. A professional mixed martial arts fighter and life long martial arts practitioner and passionate enthusiast with over 37+ years training and teaching. Father of 4 daughters. Coach Vik formerly competed in the Middleweight and Welterweight divisions of the UFC. A professional competitor since 2010, Coach Vik was also a contestant on The Ultimate Fighter/TUF Nations: Canada vs. Australia 2013.
A Team Member at Alliance MMA, living and training in San Diego in 2014, Coach Vik shared the mats with the likes of Dominick Cruz, Jeremy Stephens, Michael Chandler, Brandon Vera, Michael Bisping, Kelvin Gastelum and many more. Coach Vik also adds a high level Freestyle wrestling and Pro Boxing and Kickboxing background to his teachings.
A Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt under Carlos Vieira of Cia Paulista Australia and student under him for over 10 years.
Coach Vik has shared the mats and trained with the likes of such people as Jon Jones, Wanderlei Silva, Dan Severn, Roger Gracie, Michael Bisping, Dominick Cruz, Neil Melanson, Dean Lister, Rodolfo Vieira, Xande Ribieiro, Leticia Ribieiro, Kelvin Gastelum, Brandon Vera, Jeremy Stephens and many many more....
Coach Vik has personally trained hundreds of students in Bjj and over 80 amature and professional MMA fighters.
Coach Vik now passes on a lifes knowledge in the martial arts to his students.

Ramen is a seasoned veteran in combat sports from an early age.
With experience in Pro MMA , Pro K1 and is currently the Victorian IKBF Lightweight Kickboxing Champion.
Coach Ramen will bring experience and knowledge as a fighter, but more importantly as a well rounded coach to Team Sparta.
Come train with Ramen Tuesday's and Thursday's at Team Sparta.
Adults from 6-7pm.
